Harry Styles was born in the village of Holmes Chapel on February 1st, 1994 to Anne and Des Styles. Harry has one sister, Gemma. Harry’s parents divorced when he was 7 and his mother later remarried to Robin Twist. Before auditioning for the X Factor, Harry was the lead singer in a band named White Eskimo. After winning a battle of the bands, Harry wanted to know if he “was any good”, and auditioned for the 2010 season of X Factor. He sang “Isn’t She Lovely” and received two yeses from the judges. He later went on to sing “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” and was cut. Fortunately, Harry and four other cut soloists, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik, were brought back and asked to continue on in the competition as a group. The group went on to take 3rd overall under the name of One Direction. Harry briefly dated television presenter Caroline Flack which was widely criticized for the 15 year age gap. Harry is currently single, but has been connected to several famous celebrities including Taylor Swift, Emma Ostilly, and Georgia May.
